Student Representative · 2026–2027

Jamil Bin Tarik Sorgo is an emerging hospitality and culinary professional undertaking a Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Business Management at AHEAD. He holds a Certificate III in Hospitality Management, Certificate IV in Hospitality Management and Diploma of Hospitality Management, building a foundation in culinary practice, kitchen operations, food safety and hospitality business management.

Academic Board

The Academic Board appoints a student representative elected by the student body. The representative serves a one-year term and contributes to discussions and decision-making on academic quality, student experience and institutional governance.

Learning and Teaching Committee

Student representation on the Learning and Teaching Committee ensures students have input into curriculum delivery, teaching quality, learning resources and the overall student learning experience.

Student feedback

All students can provide regular feedback through trimester-end surveys and other feedback mechanisms. Feedback is reviewed and used to support continuous improvement across academic and student support services.
